Greentea Design

Greentea Design is a Toronto-based retailer of high end Asian-inspired furniture and cabinetry. After an extremely succesful SEO campaign, greentea was receiving a large volume of traffic, and saw the need to increase their conversion rates.

They ordered our conversion report and we set to work defining their conversion points. This was one of the most drastic changes, as until then greentea had been doing very little lead generation. We added newsletter signup boxes to all contact forms, and added a shipping quote request form. This alone immediately increased their lead acquisition rate by 1000%. We also focussed heavily on kitchens, an area that greentea had been expanding too. We redesigned their kitchen section and added two optin reports - a kitchen planner, and a printable kitchen reference.

We also began usability tests. These test showed that the site had much room for improvement and defined changes to navigation, removal of entire sections, and an entire shift in terms of how the site was viewed (suite based instead of product based). All of these splits were tested and later launched.

We edited their top 20 entry pages to more closely align with their most popular search queries, and reduced their bounce rates on average by 32%. This alone allowed for an additional 4800 visitors seeing the site each month (a permanent monthly increase, in pay per click terms that would be worth approximately $4000/mo).

Finally, we increased their newsletter list from 1000 users to over 10000 in under a year - a list that would later generate more profit for greentea than anything else.
